Dan represents financial institutions in secured and cash-flow lending and other finance transactions. His practice focuses on structuring, negotiating and documenting complicated business finance transactions and advising clients on workouts and restructurings. His clients include banks, finance companies, factors, investment banks and other equity and credit providers. Dan also has extensive experience in securities matters, including IPO’s, mergers and acquisitions.
Dan is experienced in a wide variety of finance matters including acquisitions, financing, refinancing and debtor-in-possession financing. He has advised clients in both general secured lending matters and in such specialty finance products as healthcare, oil and gas and artwork. He has extensive knowledge of intercreditor issues and other areas that impact upon financings, including bankruptcy law and cross border issues.
Dan is a member of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and the American Bar Association’s Business Section, serving on its Committee on Commercial Financial Services and the Secured Lending Subcommittee. Dan is active in continuing legal education, both within and outside of the Firm. Dan has served on numerous panels for the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and Executive Enterprises.
